1992 Gibson ES 135. I use this for 95% of all my playing, and have since I received it for my 13th birthday present. It’s been on every recording, tour, and teaching work for 30 years now. I’ve only had it set up twice, and one of those times was a re-fret. It’s a great sounding workhorse, and can produce an uncommon variety of sounds.

Late 60’s or early 70’s Orpheus, by Kremona. Bulgarian. I have it tuned with a Nashville tuning. Imperfect, unusual, resonant, beautiful. I use it to compose, discover different voicings, play Beatles songs to my little sons while they are in the bath. Dig the soviet versions of Mickey and Mini Mouse stuck all over this thing.

Godin Multiac Grand Concert SA. I fell in love with this guitar when my guitar teacher in college, Tom Giacabetti, started bringing his Godin to our lessons as we worked through transcriptions of the Charlie Haden + Pat Metheny record Beyond the Missouri Sky. Resonant and clear, and extremely dependable. Godin was kind to endorse me with this instrument.
